The 16th European Wave and Tidal Energy Conference
EWTEC2025 | 6th – 11th September 2025 in Madeira, Portugal
The next edition of EWTEC will be hosted in the Portugese island of Madeira. In 2020, it was awarded as Best Island Destination in Europe 2020, and it counts on multiple attrac- tions and leisure activities, most of them related to nature onshore and offshore. The conference is planned to take place at the Madeira Tecnopolo which is located in close proximity (3-5 minute walk) of Funchal city centre. Maderia offers excellent travel connections with a range of accomodation to suit all budgets.
