Abstract and Paper Submission & Selection 2015

Submitting Your Paper and Paper Selection Process

Abstract format: Abstract should be maximum one page long. A template is available here: Word, .PDF.  Abstracts must be submitted as .pdf files. (size < 3Mb)

Paper selection: (see EWTEC rules) to be selected, papers should fit to one of the ten thematic tracks defined by the EWTEC Technical Committee; they must bring a real value-added contribution to the knowledge or to the know-how in the field of wave and tidal energy. Commercial advertisement for products or services without any scientific or technical added value will not be considered.

Paper submission:   If your abstract has been accepted for EWTEC 2015 then you must submit a full paper by the 1st April 2015 (12pm) extended deadline

You do this by logging in through the Author Log In link on the EWTEC 2015 website.

Once logged in, you will see a table with your details, your abstract title and status.  Your status will show ‘awaiting upload of full paper’.

Click on ‘Awaiting upload of full paper’ and this will take you to the upload page.

Author Log In Screen Shot 2Choose your .pdf file, click ‘Upload’ then ‘Save and continue’ (don’t forget this action !)

Paper format:    Full papers should be maximum ten pages long and must conform to the EWTEC paper template (Word, LateX). abstract and full paper must be submitted exclusively as .pdf files. (size < 4Mb).

Poster format: Poster must be printed on a vertical A0 (1.189m x 0.841m) format paper. Author/Presenters must bring it themselves at the Conference. Panels will be provided in the poster area. Authors/Presenters are requested to post their poster as soon as possible at their arrival, ideally during the Welcome reception on Sunday the 6th.

 

Copyright transfer

All the accepted and presented papers will be included in the Proceedings of the EWTEC Conference which will be permanently available for purchase on the EWTEC.org/Proceedings web page. For this purpose, it is requested that authors/copyright owners assign copyright to EWTEC by signing the copyright transfer form attached to the final revised version of the full paper.

 

Official language: English

All communication, presentations, papers and posters will be in English. No translation will be provided by EWTEC organizers.
